Today sees the unveiling of another revolutionary product from RME. The Fireface UCX is a highly integrated pro audio solution in an ultra-compact format for studio and live applications. In this respect the Fireface UCX sets a new record for space-usage with 300 components more than in the already well-stocked Fireface UC! RME have included the latest technology introduced in the multi-award winning flagship Fireface UFX as well as some new innovations into a half 19" housing for mobile usability.

Studiologic have announced that their classic and long serving SL990XP along with the VMK88 will be discontinued with immediate effect. There will be a replacement for the Studiologic SL990XP in the shape of the recently announced Studiologic Acuna 88.

RME Driver Updates

The latest drivers for Windows and Mac PC are now available on RME's website for download. They include several new features and some performance improvements. The updated drivers support all current interfaces, including the Fireface series, Multiface/Digiface, Babyface, and the complete line of HDSP cards, both PCI and PCI Express.

Ultrasone’s regal Edition 10 open-back headphones were singled out with the Red Dot Award in the “Honourable Mention” category.

The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious design awards and is recognised world-wide. This year once again, the award ceremony at Essen’s Aalto Theatre was a special event full of exquisitely designed products. The masterpiece by Bavarian headphone manufacturer Ultrasone AG was singled out in the “Honourable Mention” category for its outstanding design.
