Glyn Johns Drum Technique with Lauten Oceanus and Horizon

Watch this great video from Sound Pure showing you how to mic up a drum kit using the Glyn Johns method. Glyn who worked with acts including Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, and apparently started his career as an assistant engineer for The Beatles. He was also credited as creating the incredible drum sound of John Bonham using this technique.
Fletcher (Sound Pure) uses a pair of Lauten Oceanus LT-381 Tube Condensers and a Lauten Horizon LT-321 Cardioid Tube Microphone for the set up on Devin Fullers kit. On guitar is Jared Wofford (not to be mistaken for Prince Harry) and Mark Wells is on organ.
