Mark “Tufty” Evans is one of those producers/mixers who seems to have worked with everyone including the likes of Beverly Knight, Imelda May, Elton John, Boyzone, Melanie C and a long list of other interesting as well as obvious names.
Mark, as you would expect, is very particular about the gear he uses and that is apparent when you look at his equipment list for the studio which includes a beautiful 96 fader Euphonix C3000 console, Manley Massive Passive EQ, Summit MPE200, Eventide H3000-D/SE along with a Lexicon 480L and a bunch of other high-end classics.
In this film made by The Audio Pros, Mark talks about his latest additions to the studio, which is a pair of Sonodyne SM100AK’s and he also offers up some tips on mixing.
