Synthax Audio UK will be heading to the UK Audio Show, the free high-end audio event for hi-fi and home audio enthusiasts. Highlighting the incredible conversion of the ADI-2 Series, the ADI-2 DAC FS and ADI-2 Pro FS R will be on display and available for demo!
Held at the De Vere Staverton Estate in Northamptonshire – and featuring over 150 brands from the world of Hi-Fi and home audio – the UK Audio Show is the place to discover the best in speakers, headphones, DACs, turntables, and everything else in between.
Visitors are encouraged to explore at their own pace, discovering some of the best equipment the Hi-Fi market has to offer. Many rooms will be set up like living rooms, giving you the opportunity to sit and truly experience high-end audio products in the way they were intended.
Focussing on the incredible, mastering-grade conversion of the ADI-2 series, Synthax Audio UK will be displaying both the RME ADI-2 DAC FS and ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition, with members of the team on hand to answer any questions visitors might have.

RME ADI-2 Pro FS R – Reference Class Conversion, in the studio and at home.
A reference-class AD/DA Converter, USB DAC and headphone amplifier rolled into one half-rack unit, the RME ADI-2 Pro FS R is the flagship converter in the ADI-2 series.
Designed with both hi-fi enthusiasts and studio engineers in mind, the ADI-2 Pro FS R aims to deliver absolute reference sound, delivering RME’s renowned crystal-clear sound signature.
With two “Extreme Power” Headphone outputs, the ADI-2 Pro FS R is perfect for audiophiles who have several pairs of headphones, offering the ability to compare different pairs. The ADI-2 also features a “Balanced Mode”, allowing both outputs to operate as one. This delivers a balanced signal path from the DAC straight to the phone, with 3 dB gain in Signal to Noise Ratio, smoothed out deviations in components, optimized frequency response, super low output impedance (0.2 Ohms), and a maximum output level of +28dBu.
The ADI-2 Pro FS R comes packed with RME’s new Multi Remote Control, offering access to frequently used setting when away from the unit. With seven customisable buttons, the Multi Remote Control is as flexible as it is functional, with 52 assignable commands available.

RME ADI-2 DAC FS – Extreme Power Headphone Amp & Reference-Class USB-DAC
Built on the technology, concept and features of the ADI-2 Pro, the RME ADI-2 DAC FS concentrates on delivering DA conversion in the highest quality. Focussing on the needs of the Hi-Fi enthusiast and home listener, the ADI-2 DAC retains the foundations of the ADI-2 Pro Series whilst offering I/O options better suited to Hi-Fi. With connections for coaxial and optical SPDIF and ADAT, unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR, the DAC has an output option for every system.
Another evolution of the DAC is its secondary headphone output, which is purpose-built for 3.5mm in-ear monitors. Designed to project the full dynamic range to even the most sensitive in-ears, the IEM output features a noise-floor even lower than the “Extreme Power” output. The ADI-2 DAC’s headphone outputs also feature a ramp-up feature, which slowly increases the volume when headphones are detected, saving expensive listening equipment and sensitive ears in the process.
