On Wednesday 21st March 2018, pro audio specialists Giraffe Audio are hosting an open day at their demo space in the Jellewery Quarter, Birmingham. Specialising in recording and music production hardware, Giraffe has a wide range of gear available to try out in store, from synths, mics and monitors, to interfaces, converters, preamps and outboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the Synthax Audio UK team will be on-hand to discuss the latest from RME and Ferrofish, along with a selection of microphones from Lauten Audio. Monitoring on the day will be courtesy of PMC, who’ll also be demoing their new Result 6 monitors, along with their mid-field IB2As. This event is open to anyone with an interest in recording studios and music production – whether you’re a student, a hobbyist or a professional, we welcome you to join us for the day. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\"\"<\/a>UK Debut for the RME ADI-2 DAC<\/h4>\n

This will also be the first UK showing of the RME ADI-2 DAC<\/a>. The new ADI-2 DAC features some of the best technical specifications you\u2019ll find in the RME range, so if you\u2019re in the Birmingham area and would like to hear this high-end DA converter and headphone amp for yourself, make sure you stop by between 11:00am and 8:00pm. The RME ADI-2 Pro<\/a> and RME Fireface UFX+<\/a> audio interface will also be available, which Giraffe have permanently on demo in-store.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also have the Ferrofish A32 Dante<\/a> with us, Ferrofish’s multi-channel analogue, ADAT, MADI and Dante converter. Ferrofish converters continue to be a popular choice for both live and studio, and the A32 was recently used as a major part of the playback rig at the 2018 Grammys<\/a>. All features can be controlled directly from the A32’s front panel, and level meters a provided for all 64 analogue channels, making the device extremely simple to operate.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tLauten Audio Series Black Microphones\"Lauten<\/a><\/h4>\n

We’ll also be showcasing the complete Lauten Audio Series Black range<\/a> of microphones, with singer-songwriter Jonny Amos<\/a> <\/span>lending his talents from 2pm onwards. The Series Black is Lauten Audio’s most affordable mic range to date, and were featured heavily on the latest Foo Fighters album<\/a> \u201cConcrete and Gold\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
