\"RME<\/a>New RME tutorial video series introduces TotalMix FX to beginners<\/h3>\n

RME have launched a new video series aimed at introducing new users to the power of mixing and routing with TotalMix FX, RME\u2019s software controller included with all RME audio interfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

This series will help you get the most out of recording and producing with your audio interface, with RME’s Adrian Lehmann taking you step by step through features like routing, customizing the channel layout, and creating your own custom workspaces.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

TotalMix FX is included as part of the driver, so after you’ve downloaded and installed the latest driver<\/a> and connected your interface, the mixer window will open automatically. If you\u2019re new to TotalMix FX, you may find the number of options available to you somewhat overwhelming at first. Rest assured though, once you get to grips with the basics, you’ll find TotalMix FX to be simple, intuitive and incredibly powerful. <\/span><\/p>\n

A complete list of applications would be too many to list here, but here’s a few of the things you can do with TotalMix FX:
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25e6 Control all inputs and outputs on your interface (levels, routing etc)
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25e6 Easily create submixes for monitoring, and routing out to other hardware in your studio
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25e6 Apply effects like EQ, Dynamics, Reverb and Delay <\/span><\/p>\n

\u25e6 Toggle mixer functions like Talkback, Dim and Cue <\/span><\/p>\n

\u25e6 Recall volume levels, switch between speakers, switch between Mono and Stereo, mute all of your inputs, or turn all of your mic inputs on and off simultaneously
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also route your outputs back in as inputs with TotalMix FX’s Loopback function, and analyse your audio signals with RME’s additional free software DIGICheck, a suite of analysis tools that provides detailed information such as level metering, frequency response, stereo width, phase correlation and bit distortion. On top of this, you can even control your interface from another computer, including wirelessly with an iPad, by using TotalMix Remote – scroll down for the Quick Start Guide<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
