\"Dan<\/a>Dan Henry is one of the excellent sales guys at Absolute Music\u2019s<\/a> new store down on the south coast in Poole. And he has just put together a very good video showing us all how to set up the RME Babyface in \u201cclass compliant\u201d mode with an iPad.<\/p>\n

The RME Babyface has been \u201cclass compliant\u201d for some time now, but with Apple\u2019s recent announcement that multichannel playback is available in IOS6 and with many apps now offering 8 channels or more, the\u00a0RME Babyface\u00a0has become a genuine solution for those who want to use the iPad as a multitrack DAW in the studio or live. And as mentioned in news from NAMM, this has also allowed RME to extend the 8 channel CC mode of the RME Fireface UCX<\/a>\u00a0to all existing 18 channels with firmware 220\/4. The\u00a0RME Fireface UCX’s SPDIF and ADAT I\/O can now also be used with without limitation.<\/p>\n
