myMix gives each band member personal control over their monitor mix, allowing them to choose how much or how little they hear of the other musicians in their group<\/p><\/div>\n

Richard Clark, owner of The Shrubbery Recording Studio in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, has been using myMix<\/a> in his studio for some time now. He was kind enough to give us his thoughts on this innovative monitoring solution, highlighting the improved performances and workflow he’s observed since installing the system.<\/h4>\n

“myMix truly has been the saviour of all our monitoring issues at The Shrubbery. After years of battling with aux sends, headphone amps and miles of cable, this powerful yet simple to use solution integrated seamlessly into our recording environment.<\/p>\n

It’s so easy to use and incredibly intuitive. It saves hours on session setup, as I no longer have to worry about pleasing everyone with individual headphone mixes.<\/p>\n

After giving a quick 30 second demo to a client, I am left free to be creative and get on with tracking.<\/p>\n

The myMix IEX-16L input expander<\/a> provides an additional 16 channels of analogue inputs to the mymix system in a rack-mountable unit.<\/p><\/div>\n

Our sessions have become much more relaxed and the fact the musicians have full control over their own mix really does reflect in the finished product, it’s one big hurdle removed from the creative process.<\/p>\n

The ability to EQ, pan and add effects to individual channels really makes the headphone mix come alive, and allows clients to perform to their highest potential.<\/p>\n

I am constantly learning more about the myMix and as yet have still to try out many of its incredible features.<\/p>\n

Installing the system was very straight forward. By simply using two ADAT cables<\/a> and a couple of cat5 cables we were up and running. It truly was a plug and play experience.<\/p>\n

myMix in \u2018myMind\u2019 has given everyone I record the ability to perform to their greatest potential and gives everyone involved the freedom to get on with what they do best.”<\/p>\n
