\"RME<\/a>The new RME MADIface Pro<\/a> was part of the new products RME had on display at Musikmesse 2016, and Synthax Audio UK was super excited to get a close-up of this variation on the now well-established RME Babyface Pro<\/a>.<\/h4>\n

The RME MADIface Pro was recently unveiled at Musikmesse 2016, adding MADI functionality to RME’s now well-established Babyface Pro, which was released last year to critical acclaim.<\/p>\n

In this video, RME’s head designer Matthias Cartstens gives us an overview of this innovative new desktop interface, which combines the quality and portability of the Babyface Pro with the incredibly high channel counts and simplicity of the MADI digital audio format.<\/p>\n

So that’s an additional 64 inputs and 64 outputs, which can be sent to either a Mac or PC via USB 2.0. The RME MADIface Pro also retains the standalone functionality of the Babyface Pro, allowing you to monitor any inputs or outputs on the device, including all 128 channels of the MADI stream.<\/p>\n

The release date has yet to be confirmed, but we’re expecting the MADIface Pro to be shipping sometime in the summer of 2016.<\/p>\n
