\"Graham<\/a>Big thanks to everyone joined us at HiFi Lounge on Thursday 21st July 2016 to listen to the Graham Audio BBC LS Series<\/a>.<\/h3>\n

We had a brilliant time showcasing this fantastic range of speakers in such a beautiful location, and it was great to be able to discuss high-end audio with so many passionate and likeminded people in such an intimate setting. The full range of BBC LS Series was on show, including a prototype of the upcoming LS6 model, plus Graham Audio\u2019s full scale mastering speakers VOTU (\u201cVoice Of The Universe\u201d). The store\u2019s purpose built demo rooms were the perfect listening environment, providing an extensive opportunity to hear each speaker side by side.<\/p>\n

Graham Audio LS5\/9<\/h4>\n

First up was the flagship LS5\/9s<\/a>, which gathered a lot of interest with their rich, detailed and spacious sound. The LS5\/9s have a remarkable ability to breathe life into recorded material from any period, and excel at revealing the subtlest of changes and dynamics in musical performances.<\/p>\n

\"Graham<\/a>Graham Audio LS3\/5<\/h4>\n

Despite being the smallest speaker in the range, the LS3\/5 nearfields<\/a> also had an enthusiastic response from everyone present. Having recently received a very positive review from HiFI specialists HiFi Pig<\/a>, many visitors were keen to see how they would stack up against Graham Audio’s larger designs. We were pleased therefore to discover that the positive reviews are wholly justified \u2013\u00a0 although small, these speakers retain the clarity and detail of their larger siblings, and manage to reproduce an impressive amount of low frequencies despite their size, pumping out all but the very lowest of low frequencies.<\/p>\n

\"Graham<\/a>Graham Audio LS6<\/h4>\n

There was also the LS6 being given their first showing outside of Graham Audio’s testing facilities. Although currently still in its early stages, with only a prototype available on the day, this forthcoming model features a 6 inch driver, which aims to bridge the gap between the smaller and larger Graham speakers.<\/p>\n

Early response has been positive, and this could well be the ideal choice for engineers working in smaller rooms who want a louder version of the LS3\/5 with an extended low end.<\/p>\n

Graham Audio LS5\/8<\/h4>\n

The largest member of Graham Audio\u2019s LS series is the LS5\/8<\/a>, which Graham Audio describes as providing \u201cthe same midrange clarity and balance of the LS5\/9, but offering an extended bass response and greater authority at high levels in larger rooms.\u201d It certainly true that the basic character of the LS range is continued between the different sized models, and the LS5\/8 perfectly follows the legacy of the original BBC design.<\/p>\n
