The German based company Ferrofish, while a relatively new name to the UK, already offers a range of cost effective digital to analogue converters with a number of features including routing, wordclock and synchronisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ferrofish A16 MK-II<\/a> is a MADI and 2 x ADAT to analogue 192kHz\/24 bit converter with 16 balanced TRS inputs and an identical set of outputs. The A16 MK-II also gives you remote control (PC only) via MIDI or MIDI-over-MADI and 2 TFT displays for high resolution level metering of all inputs and outputs. The Ferrofish A16 MK-II is the perfect converter for MADI devices including the RME HDSPe MADI FX<\/a> or MADIface USB<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The recently launched Ferrofish A16 AE<\/a> is an ADAT only version of the MK-II that is ideal for simple conversion to and from any ADAT source such as the RME HDSPe RayDAT<\/a> or the RME Fireface UFX<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The third product from Ferrofish is the B4000+<\/a>, which is a standalone sound module that produces authentic organ sounds including its namesake, the Hammond B4. As well as sounding like the real thing, it also feels like the real thing with its 9 drawbars, which give you complete tactile control over your organ sounds as you play.
