\n\tYou'd be forgiven for thinking that there's not much to the pop filter (or pop shield as it's often called). Just strap a pair of tights over a coat hanger and you're done right? <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWell, despite the simplicity of the pop filter, a surprisingly common complaint we hear from studio engineers is of poorly designed pop shields causing unnecessary frustrations during a recording session. Problems include weak clamps that won’t stay locked to the microphone stand, arms that move and droop after having been carefully positioned, a loss or lack of flexibility in the arm etc. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n
