Dynaudio releases Firmware update v1.1 for Core Series monitors<\/h2>\n
We’re excited to announce the release of firmware version 1.1 for Dynaudio’s flagship Core Series of studio monitors, available for the following models:<\/p>\n

- Core Sub<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
This update brings subtle yet impactful improvements to help you get even more from your monitoring system.<\/p>\n

What’s new?<\/h3>\n
From the Dynaudio press release:
“Firmware v1.1 introduces introduces a subtle yet impactful lift in the low-frequency range. Specifically, it gives a slight boost around the port tuning and baffle step, resulting in improved depth, clarity and precision for critical listening environments.”<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n
How to update<\/h3>\n
To update your Core monitors:<\/p>\n

- 1 – Download the Dynaudio Update Tool<\/strong>, which includes both the new firmware v1.1 (03.02.20) and the original v1.0 (01.01.22).<\/li>\n
- 2 – You can find them by scrolling to the bottom of any Core product page on the Dynaudio website and selecting the Firmware<\/strong> button, or directly via this link: dynaudio.com\/core-tool<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Note: the original firmware is also included in the above download. If you prefer the original response, just reload the included v1.0 (01.01.22) file again.<\/p>\n

Free firmware update stickers<\/h3>\nFirmware v1.1 includes new gain structures that aren’t reflected in the existing rear-panel SPL switch labels.<\/p>\n
To keep your system properly gain-staged, Dynaudio offers free rear panel stickers that show the updated input sensitivity.<\/p>\n

If you stick with the original firmware, no stickers are needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

If you install v1.1, we recommend applying the stickers to reflect the new gain structure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

For Core 5 and Core Sub Compact users<\/h3>\n
No action is required \u2014 these models already come with the latest firmware.<\/p>\n
