TotalMix FX 2.0 – Preview<\/b>\u00a0available for MacOS<\/h2>\n

RME have quietly dropped a public beta of TotalMix 2.0 on the forum. The main standout feature here is that TotalMix is now scalable<\/strong>, meaning it can be resized to work perfectly with any computer monitor, simply by clicking and dragging!<\/p>\n

This long-requested feature was previously not possible to implement, with previous versions of TotalMix FX built using Bitmap images to render the software GUI. The default sizes were therefore determined by fixed zoom amounts (and preventing free user scaling, which would have affected the accuracy of the metering).<\/p>\n

Fantastic news then that this long-requested feature is now upon us. Well done RME!<\/p>\n

The public Beta is available to download now for MacOS and Windows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Note: As with any beta release, we would always advise using caution if you are in the middle of a production! Test on a backup machine first, or be prepared to roll back to the previous version, and make sure you\u2019ve saved any previous TotalMix setups as workstations.<\/strong><\/p>\n
