Description
DirectOut PRODIGY.MX
DirectOut is proud to introduce the PRODIGY.MX, a multiformat audio matrix elevating the audio routing, converting, and processing capabilities of the PRODIGY Series to the next level.
PRODIGY.MX offers an impressive capacity of 1664 x 1668 audio channels, making it a formidable asset for professionals in need of versatile audio solutions. Its modular hardware simultaneously accommodates multiple audio formats, selectable between Dante, RAVENNA/AES67, SoundGrid, AVB/MILAN, and MADI, and ensures seamless interconnectivity among them.
The modules feature bidirectional sample rate conversion (HD SRC), enabling connections across various clock boundaries. Operational control is facilitated through globcon control software, compatible with both Mac and PC, while local operation is simplified with an intuitive touch display, providing essential monitoring and control capabilities. Third-party control protocols, like Ember+, are available as options to ease integration into larger systems.
In its first release PRODIGY.MX will already incorporate processing features, such as gain control for all inputs and outputs, and channel grouping . Additional DSP functions are planned for future updates, further expanding the application scenarios.
DirectOut is also introducing new high-channel count MADI modules shaped for the audio network slots of the PRODIGY devices and adding extra capacity and flexibility to the series.

The DirectOut PRODIGY.MX is a multiformat audio matrix with a capacity of 1664 x 1664 audio channels.
The mainframe hosts up to six audio network modules for interfacing with the whole range of audio protocols offered by DirectOut. Two additional MADI slots connect with selectable sockets.
The hardware is modular and the available licenses are granular - offering to make the best choice to meet your requirements.

Control is key
Globcon control manages all DirectOut devices via network - either on Mac or PC.
Local display and operation on a touch display facilitates the overview and grants basic control.
Third-party control protocols (Ember+, OSC, SNMP, JSON-API) are available as options.
DSP
Signal processing offers gain control of all inputs and outputs and channel groups for comfortable fading.
Additional DSP functions are planned for future updates.
MADI unlocked
New MADI modules for the audio network slots with two or four MADI ports add extra capacity to the single MADI slots.
