Depeche Mode recently embarked on their “Delta Machine” tour which will last nearly two years and is predominantly covering Europe and the US. Delta Machine is Depeche Mode's 13th album which is the latest in a band career that spans an amazing 32 years with over 100 million album sales.

Studiologic with Lana Del Rey

2013 BRIT award winner (International Female Solo Artist) Lana Del Rey is just about to head out to do some dates around Europe which include Birmingham, Glasgow, London and Manchester in May. She will, of course, be performing songs from her new album “Born To Die – The Paradise Edition”. We were invited down to the production rehearsal in Bedfordshire last week by Steve Cowley (programming and keyboard tech) to see the Studiologic Numa Nero in  rather a unique setting.

Autograph At The Olympics

Autograph Sound Recording was founded by Andrew Bruce and Phil Clifford in 1972.  Since then it has grown to become a leading light in the live performance industry with a host of clients that include the biggest West End plays and musicals.  More recently, Autograph were a major part of the successful opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics.

RME Babyface & iPad CC Mode Video Tutorial

The RME Babyface has been Class Compliant for some time now, but with apps such as DAW and Auria becoming even more feature rich and reliable, recording and mixing with an iPad has become a serious option for those who wish to record on the move.

You may have seen our earlier feature from NAMM 2013 on the new Ultrasone Edition 8, Romeo and Julia headphones, and one of the other firsts on film for Synthax TV was the new Ultrasone In-Ear systems.

Lauten on SoundCloud and RME Sessions

Lauten Audio microphones were another feature on RME Sessions which was held at Air Studios in Nov 2012. Even with the arsenal of mics that were available at the studios, it was felt that Lauten was a good option for a number of sources on the session.
