The RME Babyface Pro is RME’s updated desktop audio interface. Combining a wealth of features with superior build quality and rock-solid stability, the Babyface Pro is the perfect solution for high-quality mobile recording, as well as project and home studio applications. The crystal clear AD converters capture your line level instruments in all their glory, whilst the 2x microphone preamps will give you transparent and detailed recordings every time you record.

On the DA side, the Babyface Pro provides flat and accurate sound to your speakers and headphones, with ultra low-latency performance on both Mac and Windows.

With widespread acclaim coming from professionals, critics and project studio users alike, one of the most popular features is the variety of function keys found on the face of the unit, which gives instant access to all of the unit’s basic functionality.

Several of the buttons can also be programmed to control any of the functions in TotalMix FX, RME’s comprehensive control mixer and routing software. The keys A, B, and DIM can all be programmed from within TotalMix FX, allowing you to customise the Babyface Pro to perfectly suit your recording needs. You can set up buttons for control of Mutes, Solos and Fader Groups, Speaker B, Mute FX, MONO, Talkback, External input, Effects ON and OFF, Cue Phones mix to MAIN out, and load saved mixer snapshots and layouts.

You can customise the buttons for applications like Talkback, or configure a headphone monitor mix for a musician. In Addition to this, the video takes you on a quick tour of some Babyface Pro’s standalone command functions, for using the Babyface Pro in standalone mode (no computer or iPad needed).
