The long awaited RME HDSPe MADI FX is now shipping in the UK.
Featuring a staggering 390 audio channels, 3 MADI I/O’s (2 optical and 1 coaxial) along with an AES/EBU I/O and an analogue output for monitoring, the HDSPe MADI FX is the first to feature RME’s new modular Hammerfall Pro Audio Core. This innovative high-tech core will process 3 times as many channels as the its predecessor, but significantly reduces the system load which enables ultra-low latency.
RME’s new core also features the unrivaled and ground-breaking TotalMix FX, which controls and manages the amazing number of channels, and also features a faster DSP. The integrated 192kHz RME effects engine offers latency-free monitoring with many effects which are hosted on the card and are independent from your DAW.
The RME HDSPe MADI FX can also be used a very powerful MADI router. Each channel can be routed independently and with separate levels for each.
“Seamless Redundancy Operation” is also new – the card can be used as a single MADI device recording up to 64 channels and have up to 2 uninterrupted switching MADI sources for redundancy.
