Supertramp co-founder tours with RME audio interfaces
Musician and singer-songwriter Roger Hodgson is currently on an American and European tour, with several pieces of RME at the heart of his and his band’s touring rigs.
Co-founder of the English rock band Supertramp, Hodgson is probably best known for composing and singing on many of their most famous tracks including “Dreamer”, “Give a Little Bit”, “Breakfast in America”, “Take the Long Way Home”, “The Logical Song” and “It’s Raining Again”.
In an article featured on ProSoundWeb.com, his FOH engineer Howard Heckers (who has also worked with the likes of Liza Minnelli, James Taylor, Christopher Cross, and Randy Newman) discusses how the RME MADIface USB is being used on the tour.
Speaking about his fondness for RME devices, Heckers also revealed that several other members of the band are using RME interfaces too, with the Fireface UFX, Fireface UCX and the new Babyface Pro all making up part of the band’s equipment list. He was also full of praise for the impressive ongoing support they’ve been receiving.
“Roger and I both agree this is the best unit available in the industry.”
