In the event of a delay, we will contact you either by email or telephone as soon as reasonably possible.

While 99% of UK locations are valid for next day/Saturday delivery, there are a few remote locations which are not covered.

Synthax Audio (UK) cannot deliver outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland*.

Missed Deliveries

If you are not in to receive the order at the time delivery is attempted, a card will normally be left to notify you of the missed delivery attempt. This will allow you to either telephone the courier company to arrange a re-delivery at a more convenient time or collect it from your local courier depot or Royal Mail sorting office. For security reasons, all items require a signature.

If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, multiple failed delivery attempts), then we will inform you immediately by email as soon as we receive the item. From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to re-dispatch the item or cancel the order. Please refer to our Cancellations & 14 Day Returns Procedure for more details. For items where delivery failed through no fault of Synthax Audio (UK), you will be liable for the original shipping charge, any courier surcharges and any subsequent delivery charges.

Late Deliveries or Dispatch

We are able to ship almost every order in the specified timescale. However, in very rare circumstances there can be an unforeseen delay. If this does happen, we will make it our priority to get your order dispatched from our warehouse as soon as reasonably possible.

There are also rare cases, beyond our control, when the delivery company itself has a problem which causes a delay in transit. In these situations we will do our utmost to liaise with the relevant delivery company to ensure delivery is completed as swiftly as possible.

Consequential Loss for Late Deliveries

If a delivery is late, then we will provide a refund of any delivery fee that we charged you. We do not provide financial compensation to cover consequential losses, e.g. for time taken off work to receive a delivery, or if the item is intended as a gift and you have to purchase the same item from a more expensive retailer.

Twelve transparent mic preamps for exceptional conversion performance

The PAD-free microphone input stages have a 75 dB gain range and accept signals of up to +18 dBu. On the converter side, the 12Mic-D shines with an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio on all channels. All twelve front- facing XLR connections accept microphone and line level signals, whilst the first four connections also accept TRS connectors, with switchable high impedance (Hi-Z) for instruments.

RME 12Mic-D - Dante-redundancy

Multiple layers of redundancy make the 12Mic a perfect companion
for any professional live sound application.

Never miss a Show - Multiple layers of redundancy make the 12Mic-D a perfect companion for any kind of live sound application.

  • 2x Power Supply
  • 2x MADI Ports
  • 2x RJ45 Ports for Dante Networks

Connectivity & Features

RME 12Mic-D Dante Preamp - Connections

MADI & ADAT for maximum flexibility

Both coaxial and optical (via an SFP module) MADI I/O is available for independent or redundant operation, and can be used for daisy chaining, merging and converting MADI signals at incredibly low latency.

Three optical ADAT outputs provide up to 24 channels of audio at single speed (for example, a combination of microphone inputs, MADI signals and Dante signals), or 12 output channels at 96 kHz sampling rate, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of audio interfaces. Additionally, the ADAT ports can also be used to send monitor mixes from Dante or MADI inputs to existing DACs/headphone amps.

Single-mode or multi-mode MADI integration - The MADI SFP can be equipped with a single mode transceiver, allowing the device to be easily integrated into any broadcast infrastructure.

RME-Plug-n-Play-Graphic

Plug’n’play - rapid user interaction

Control all device settings directly from the front panel with an encoder and buttons for convenient, direct access to all features. RME network audio devices can also be fully remote controlled via a web-interface on any network link (including wirelessly over Wi-Fi), allowing for the rapid creation of gain groups, phantom power switching, and routing of signals to headphones for monitoring.

The built-in routing matrix allows for quick routing of any analog inputs straight to the headphone output, as well as all digital signals. As such, problem-solving of signals, clocking, connectivity or other issues is both simple and straight-forward!

The intuitive operating concept with display allows users to check and configure all 12 analog channels directly on the unit, individually and in groups.

By integrating Audinate’s Dante IP Core on a custom built RME FPGA platform, RME is not only delivering a highly flexible solution but also gets one step closer to achieving a truly universal Audio Networking experience.

RME MADI SFP Module - Multimode

Optional: RME MADI SFP Module

The RME 12Mic's MADI I/O can be expanded via the optional SFP module, increasing the MADI channel count to a maximum of 256 channels and offering MADI redundant operation.

SteadyClock FS - Reference class Digital Clocking

In digital audio the clock frequency is an essential factor, creating and sustaining the correlation between the audio bits and the time reference. Unfortunately, the clock frequency is not always as stable as desired. The 12Mic-D offers full SteadyClock FS performance for lowest jitter and highest jitter immunity.

Excellent performance in all clock modes and High Quality Analogue Conversion to hear your mix as it is. Digital format conversion in RME products is performed without any loss or degredation, and SteadyClock FS ensures your sonic image will never experience degredation. This helps to optimize recordings and mixes because the soundstage has more depth and clarity.
