TotalMix FX
The most powerful mixing and routing software available. TotalMix FX is RME's built-in monitor and mixing controller, essentially giving you a mixing console inside of your RME Audio Interface.
With TotalMix FX you can:
- Route any input (or channels from a DAW) to any output
- Create unlimited submixes (for headphone mixes, routing out to studio outboard etc)
- Send any output back in as an input (Loopback)
- Monitor inputs directly ('zero-latency monitoring')
- Access monitor controls like Level Recall, Speaker-switching and Mono On/Off at the touch of a button
- Apply built-in FX like EQ, Compression, Reverb and Delay*

SteadyClock FS
SteadyClock FS is RME’s latest generation of digital clocking technology, guaranteeing excellent sound quality in all clock modes and sample rates.
Taken from RME’s award-winning ADI-2 Series, SteadyClock FS ensures the analogue conversion is performed to the highest level of quality – completely independent from the quality of an external reference clock – whilst RME’s highly efficient jitter suppression refreshes and cleans up any incoming clock signal from other connected devices.
DIGICheck & DIGICheck NG
Available as a free download to all RME users, DIGICheck and DIGICheck NG are a suite of highly accurate audio analysis and measurement tools for Mac and Windows, and will be of benefit to anyone working in recording, mixing, mastering or broadcast.
The set of tools includes:
- Comprehensive multi-channel level metering (peak and RMS)
- 30-band spectrum/frequency analyser with adjustable rise and fall times
- Correlation meter and vectorscope for checking the phase relationship of stereo signals and mono compatibility
- Loudness metering tools (IT 1770 / EBU R128 Loudness standards) including VU Metering
- Surround Audio Scope for surround sound level metering with extended correlation analysis, ITU weighting and ITU summing

Room EQ
Room EQ is an additional 9-band parametric EQ found in TotalMix FX.
With up to 20 Room EQs usable simultaneously on any outputs - including stereo pairs, headphones and digital outputs for maximum flexibility - Room EQ is perfect for applying DSP-based room correction to your studio monitors and headphones, whether you're working in stereo, 5.1, 7.1 or immersive audio setups like Dolby Atmos.
What's more, Room EQ also supports the importing of measurements from Sonarworks SoundID Reference and Room EQ Wizard (REW).
